What is Ofsted
Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. They inspect services providing education and skills for learners of all ages. They also inspect and regulate services that care for children and young people. All businesses providing care and support services to children from birth to 18 will need to be regulated by Ofsted.
What is CQC
CQC are the independent regulator of health and social care in England. They make sure health and social care services provide people with safe, effective, compassionate, high-quality care and encourage care services to improve.
They are tasked with Protecting the rights of vulnerable people, including those restricted under the Mental Health Act.
