Here is a breakdown of all of the training provided to you.

INTERNAL TRAINING

Infinity offers a robust internal training programme which starts with direct work with Dwayne, the Director.

  • Do's and Don'ts, ways to conduct yourself, list of scenarios, building relationships with young people and understanding young people

  •  Everyone goes out with DB for grid pattern training, how to deal with an aggressive young person

  • Basic information: what staff should know before starting a shift. Full understanding of the scenarios.

  •  Staff handbook (key policies and procedures) organisational information (organisational structure) and key contacts

INTERNAL TRAINING

Similing Team

The Secondary level of internal training will be carried out with various Members of the Upper Management Team and it will cover different elements:

  • Documentation (going through all documentation that would be used in the units) , Drive how to use the drive (where to find and save significant information, what forms they need to use) , Emails (how to use emailing system and how to file emails) - Training given by MM

  • Staff expectations (what is expected on shift, what to do at the beginning of a shift, what do at the end of a shift, daily and weekly expectations) - Training given by SW

  • Bamboo Hr (how to use bamboo hr, what it is used for , weekly interactions and monthly tests

  • Bright pay (how to use bright pay, how to change details and book holiday) , Timesheets (how to fill in timesheets, when to submit timesheets. ) Training given by DT

  • How to check properties (How to complete the form, how to file the form, when to complete the form), How to do room checks (When to do room checks, how to complete a room check , how to file room check) Training given by SF

  • Speaking with social workers, writing emails and reports, attending lac meetings, doing a pre placement visit/ meeting, doing a placement meeting, marketing the alliance to young people, social worker, parents, staff, placement team and quality assurance officer, and other staff members.

Those who are preparing to be office staff will have additional internal training courses to complete with us. These training items will be provided by Quinn and Michaela Primarily:

  • How to Contact councils and what to say

  • Effectively selling the service to local authority.

  • Selling the service to other clients

  • Selling additional infinity services such as the “other” or “external clients” sections

We have distinguishes between Formal Certified Training and external as many external trainings we may send you on only give certificates of attendance that aren't necessarily formal certificates. These trainings are still important however.
