Supervision

Supervision is scheduled for each individual at fortnightly periods during a new employees probationary period. This changes to once a month after the probationary period.

Supervision is a time for staff to discuss how work is going with their supervisors and highlight any areas where they are struggling, identify needs for training and development and see what is going well. This allows management to see where they can help you develop and reflect on your practice, as well as offer support to you.

Training

Each staff will need to go through 1 monthly training with managers. this covers things such as the systems we use to how to market the organisation. Different staff may need different training so we not everyone will receive every training (This is dependent on your in the company).

if you are not attending trainings appropriately, after 3 missed sessions will put you on review.

This is detailed further in the Training Section of the Staff website under internal training

Fortnightly Quiz

Through the Staff Portal on the website and BambooHR you will need to complete a quiz each fortnight to test your knowledge and understanding of the role, laws, acts and training that has been completed. The scores for these will be sent to your manager and the results used to assess your need for further training.

If these quizzes are not completed within the required timeframe, money from your pay check will be deducted (£25 per quiz that is late or incomplete)

Staff Meetings

Staff will meet every 6 weeks to have overall staff meetings, these meetings are vital to staff cohesion and team building. It is important that all staff can agree, feel heard and understood and address any problems that they have with each other and management. Meetings are a safe space to address the issues staff may have and get staff up to speed on any changes to the organisation and the way it may be running. for example system changes, shift pattern changes etc.
