Unit Phones
For challenging young people we will buy an additional cheap phone that can only call and text. This is typically a pay as you go type phone. This phone can be given to young people to make calls and texts but does not put us at any risk of social workers and professionals calling and being disrespected or not getting through raising concerns. This phone should not be used to call young people or other professionals and no details of the unit can be saved on it. When this phone is not necessary to use we will keep it in the safe or money box in the unit.
